When we got our Australian Terrier, Jake, aged 8 months old, I was new to dog ownership and he turned out to be a very nervous and anxious dog. He couldn’t even walk down the street without being terrified by other people, dogs and traffic. I was very worried that we had taken on a dog that would always be unhappy and difficult to manage. Julia was recommended to me by a friend and was an absolute life-saver. At Julia’s first session, Jake was too terrified even to enter the class and I thought I would have to go home however within minutes Julia had connected with him and totally understood him – a true dog whisperer!  By the end of a several sessions he was a much happier dog, integrating with the other dogs and their owners, following commands, and well on his way to the confident, sociable and much loved family pet that he is today.  Julia knows everything there is to know about dogs and was happy to answer all of my many questions. I couldn’t have managed those challenging early days of dog ownership without her – I thoroughly recommend her classes.
